HOW TO USE YOUR
FOODBANK

A group of volunteers to support you if you're in need.

If you live in the SN11 postcode area, you will qualify for a food parcel.  We only ask that everyone who uses the Foodbank registers first.

You will need to complete a registration form, available from the Foodbank, which you can complete at home and return to volunteers, or complete at the foodbank with the support of a volunteer if you prefer.  The form asks for your name, postcode, and ages of any children in your household.

Once registered, you will be issued with a personalised registration card, with a unique customer number and confirmation of the type of parcel you require.  (Please note that we can amend this should your circumstances change at any point).  We ask you to produce your registration card each time you visit the Foodbank.

A typical food parcel contains a minimum of three days of nutritionally balanced, non perishable, tinned and dried foods.

Examples of what you might find in a food parcel:

  • UHT Milk (Long Life)

  • Fruit Juice (Long life)

  • Meat (tinned)
